What are Swarf Bins?

Although most visitors to the site will know all about swarf bins, others may be new to the industry. If this is you, read more about swarf bins below.

Swarf bins, which are similar to tipping bins, are used to store and transport swarf from CNC machines. Swarf bins commonly come with wheels and/or a base that can be picked up with a forklift. This allows easy transportation to outside waste storage.

Although swarf bins are most commonly used with CNC swarf, general waste can also be used in our bins. For most waste, we recommend using the dry swarf bin. However, waste with liquid content is best used with the wet bin. This allows you to easily drain liquid content and dispose of according to local council regulations.

What Can Swarf Bins Be Used For?

We primarily created the custom swarf bins to be used in machine shops around Australia. However, we know how useful a high quality, versatile, bin can be. That's why our swarf bins can be used for all sorts of waste including general waste, waste from wood, metal, and plastics, and, of course, swarf.
